Very Small Records is an independent record label, formed in 1989 by David Hayes, co-founder and former co-owner of Lookout! Records.[1] The label releases primarily pop punk and punk rock records. The name of the label was changed to Too Many Records around 1994, but was changed back around 1997.[2]
The label has released records for such punk bands as Operation Ivy, Jawbreaker, Pinhead Gunpowder, Crimpshrine, Corrupted Morals, Less Than Jake, Schlong and Various Artists compilations with such bands as Less Than Jake, The Piss Shivers, J Church, Blanks 77 latest record (VSR88) was released in 2003. The gross majority of titles released by Very Small/Too Many are no longer available in physical formats. However, David Hayes has made some of these titles available for download on his blog.
